Full Job Description
The Role: What You'll Do
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Veritas Prep, you will provide behavior analysis services to students with special needs in grades K-12. You will work collaboratively with school staff and families to develop and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct functional assessments, and provide behavior support and consultation.
You'll also:
- Conduct applied behavior analysis assessments and functional behavior assessments to determine appropriate behavior interventions
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the analysis of student behavior data
- Provide direct behavior analysis services to students, including behavior instruction and support
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement behavior support plans in the classroom setting
- Train and support school staff and families in the implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Collect and analyze data on student behavior and the effectiveness of behavior interventions
- Participate in team meetings to review student progress and determine appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Stay current on best practices in behavior analysis through ongoing professional development

- BCBA certification
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
- Experience providing behavior analysis services to students with special needs
- Experience collaborating with school staff and families to implement behavior support plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current authorization to work in the United States - a candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment
