Certified Nursing Aide

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure their safety.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment.
• Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and follow care plans effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
