Luminary Group, is partnered with a private equity-backed company, is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with expertise in Real World Evidence (RWE) to drive technological innovation and digital transformation. As the CTO, you will play a critical role in leading the technology strategy and operations of our Real World Evidence initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for our Real World Evidence (RWE) initiatives.
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the technology team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions and services.
- Collaborate with the executive team and private equity partners to align technology initiatives with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance the company's technological capabilities in the Real World Evidence space.
- Manage and optimize technology resources, including budget, infrastructure, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's technology systems and data.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and driving innovation in technology solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Represent the company in technology-related discussions, partnerships, and client engagements.
- Report directly to the CEO and provide regular updates on technology strategy and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MS, PhD) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in technology roles, with a focus on Real World Evidence (RWE).
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and digital transformation using emerging technologies.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop technical teams.
- Experience in managing technology budgets, infrastructure, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in the healthcare industry and familiarity with healthcare data standards is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a private equity-backed environment is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
