Position Overview:
Circles is looking for an employee-focused Concierge and Errand Runner who loves working with people! This role is perfect for you if you are outgoing, industrious, and have a passion for providing the highest level of service. On a typical day you will pick up a birthday gift for a clients’ spouse, engage with the clients to educate them on the services available, and finish your day by researching the best place to pick up a bouquet of flowers!
The Employee Concierge and Errand Runner offers white glove customer service to our clients via face-to-face interaction, email and phone. You will provide prompt, courteous and customer-oriented service to employees. Your main responsibility will be to assist our clientele with local errand running within specified parameters and criteria. From time to time, you may also assist our clientele with additional services from travel planning, providing gift suggestions to product research and much more.
Qualified candidates will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and be highly organized. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of local businesses, entertainment venues and travel options. Experience in the hotel, hospitality or the travel industry is preferred.
We are seeking a Per Diem candidate to fill this role. This is an "on-call", as needed position.
Candidates must have reliable transportation and an excellent driving record.
Position requires travel in the assigned city and surrounding areas. Mileage and parking expenses will be reimbursed.
Compensation for this role is $23 to $24 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Local errand running services within the greater Boston area.
- Coordinating and scheduling services with local and national partners and vendors
- Consistently provide best in class customer service in a fast paced, structured environment.
- Prioritizing requests and monitoring daily deliverables.
- Provide uncompromising service to members.
- Project an approachable and professional image at all times.
- Promote meaningful relationships via face-to-face interaction with employees, visitors and vendors.
- Respond to employee and guest requests in a professional, courteous and timely manner, without exception.
- Collaborate on new ideas and initiatives with team members and management.
- Research suggestions and book reservations for entertainment, tickets, dining and travel
- Recommend household service professionals and pet care providers
- Suggest and purchase gifts and flowers
- Product comparison and information research
- As time allows host tabling events onsite at client location to create awareness of the program
- As time allows support campus celebrations with set-up
- Other duties as assigned
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks daily

Requirements
- Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks daily and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with navigating the surrounding Boston area via car
- Comfortable handling with a high volume of errands requests
- 2+ years of customer service experience; prior front desk, concierge, or other hospitality experience preferred
- Valid driver’s License and clean driving record
- Knowledge of MS office, Microsoft Word, Internet searching, and keyboarding
- Must have reliable transportation and impeccable driving record
