Commonwealth Electrical Technologies is seeking a full-time Construction Project Coordinator to thrive in a busy office and provide proactive and comprehensive support. Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, and they must be proactive in their approach to all work.
The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for processing change orders, tracking change order approvals, and filing for electrical permits. The Construction Project Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating administrative team communication, including answering and screening phone calls, emails, and visitors. You will coordinate subcontractors’ agreements and required certifications.
Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000
Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:
- Process change orders through accounting software.
- Take meeting notes and coordinate circulating them to the project team.
- File for electrical permits.
- Coordinate insurance requirements for projects and distribute them to GCs.
- Occasional support of other coordinators and management.
- Update and manage information & coordinate organized data storage.
- Serve as a conduit of clear and accurate information to staff members.
- Coordinate administrative team communication, including answering and screening phone calls, emails, and visitors.
- Assist Project Managers with closeout paperwork as needed.
- Process purchase orders.
- Reconcile AP invoices.
- Coordinate subcontractors’ agreements and necessary certifications.
- Organize and submit compliance information.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to read and write in English
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Word specifically)
