DevOp's Engineer (Cloud)

Description: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer (Cloud) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in architecting, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and efficient solutions for cloud environments. This is an incredible opportunity to join an experienced founding team who have collectively raised $1bn+ in capital across several previously successful ventures and lead AI Research within the business.

In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated team of talented researchers and engineers to enhance our cloud infrastructure capabilities. The focus will be on implementing robust DevOps practices and technologies to optimize the performance and reliability for deploying software to our cloud infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the necessary infrastructure to support cloud environments.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software to cloud platforms.
• Monitor and ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud systems.
• Develop and maintain automated tools for system provisioning, monitoring, and operations.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and DevOps practices.
• Deploy and optimize cloud workloads, especially LLM inference and training.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a significant focus on cloud computing environments.
• Experience automating using infrastructure as code.
• Proficient in using major CI/CD tools such as JFrog, Github Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
• Skilled in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with cloud computing services and constraints, including deployment and maintenance challenges.
• Hands-on experience with deploying to and optimizing cloud workloads.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with git and at least one CI/CD framework.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with real-time operating systems and cloud-specific security practices.
• Prior involvement in cloud deployments or AI projects.
• Knowledge of cloud AI technologies and frameworks.
• Bonus points for experience with any of the following: Kubeflow, Airflow, vLLM, Grafana, InfluxDB.
