Commonwealth Electrical Technologies is seeking a full-time Electrical Estimator to thrive in a busy office and provide proactive and comprehensive support in the estimating department. Must have previous estimating experience or experience as a journeyman electrician. Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and be proactive in their approach to all work.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000
Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:
- Review specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required materials for an estimate.
- Produce estimates takeoff using various methods (comprehensive, median, historical, conceptual).
- Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes. Review quotes for accuracy with plans and specifications.
- Meet with Project Management and operations to fully explain the estimate, scope of work, quotes, and other aspects for a successful transition.
- Responsible for the timely completion of all estimates and client-required documents.
- Write scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates.
- The responsibilities describe the general nature and scope of work being performed. Other duties will be assigned as needed.
- Microsoft Office & Excel Experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma and additional specialized training required
- Ability to read and write in English
- The ideal candidate has two (2) years experience as an Electrical Estimator
