Join Professional Physical Therapy, a leading provider of physical, occupational, and hand therapy in the Northeast, as a Facilities Technician in our New England region. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clinics.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections and repairs of clinic facilities, equipment, and systems. You will also coordinate with external vendors and contractors to schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work. Additionally, you will assist in monitoring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility maintenance and safety.
We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of building maintenance procedures and practices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of clinic facilities and equipment to identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry work.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility maintenance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance procedures and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using maintenance management software.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or prolonged standing.
- Adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
