Position Summary:
The Field Service Engineer I is an essential member of our BotristaPro equipment team. This role ensures the seamless operation of our equipment at client locations, from installation to maintenance. It requires a technically adept individual who can handle complex issues, efficiently manage installations, and communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Handling & Installation:
- Safely and efficiently manage the replacement, installation, removal, and low-priority maintenance of Drinkbot equipment at customer restaurants locations, ensuring adherence to Company standards and customer satisfaction.
- Provide comprehensive training to restaurant operators on the proper use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of Drinkbot equipment.
- Address minor technical issues with Drinkbot equipment that may not be functioning correctly at the time of delivery. If a resolution is not immediate, initiate a service call.
- Stay updated with the latest Drinkbot equipment advancements and best practices in the field. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.
- Operate handheld devices effectively to maintain accurate records of delivery, removal, equipment movement, and parts inventory accountability.
- Provide timely feedback and reports to the Field Service Manager regarding common issues, potential improvements, and customer feedback.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with beverage equipment, is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Willingness to travel sometimes on short notice.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Possess a reliable car and driver's license.
Physical Requirements:
- May involve lifting heavy equipment, bending, standing for long periods, and other physical activities related to equipment installation and service.
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $75,000 per year
