Long-Term Substitute: MS Science (STEM) (Dorchester)

We have partnered with Dorchester, MA area charter school that is looking for professional long-term substitutes for the following grades and subjects 6th - 8th Grade Science.

This person will serve grades 6th, 7th, and 8th graders between the hours of 8:00 A.m. to 4:00 P.m. Successful candidates have experience working in urban schools, students with special needs, and English Language Learners. This person will have strong planning and organizational skills, be reliable and timely, and have the desire to support youth in their growth. If you are interested in becoming an educator and/or working with a range of students and adults, this role is a great way to sharpen your teaching skills while getting to know the inner workings of schools.

Compensation: $33.25 Per/Hour

• Bachelors degree from a reputable university, or college (Required)
• Valid teachers Professional or Provisional or Emergency Certification (Nice-to-Have)
• Bachelors degree in Education (Nice to have)
• Three (4) years of classroom experience (Preferred)
• Able to work arrive on time: 8:00 Am to 3:30 Pm (Long-term/Permanent)
