Purpose
USTA New England is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, coordinating and implementation of marketing initiatives in coordination with the department. This includes graphic design, digital and traditional marketing campaign execution, social media content ideation and creation and website maintenance. The Coordinator will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining relations with vendors and marketing agencies. Alongside, they will also be responsible for evaluating the performance of campaigns, conducting regular market research and looking out for trends which could become opportunities for the company.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and execution of marketing strategies to grow tennis in New England. This includes but is not limited to:
- Act as the lead graphic designer with input and approval as required.
- Contribute to social media content including brainstorming new ideas, staying current with trends and creating organic content.
- Assist with updating content and design of company websites. Coordinate with other departments to ensure web information is accurate and timely.
- Coordinate and effectively collaborate with all department members on broader department activities.
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and assist with their implementation from ideation to execution. Maintain creative/production deadlines for all design and campaign efforts.
- Collaborate and act as project coordinator across departments on marketing efforts and promotional material design.
- Coordinate product, content email marketing, maintaining databases, copy scheduling, testing and following up with leads.
- Provide support to the marketing director by evaluating and establishing marketing plans and strategies by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning and executing them.
- Craft clear, consumable marketing copy in coordination with program staff.
- Ensure campaigns have a thoughtful and intentional focus on diverse markets.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan and departmental goals. This includes but is not limited to:
- Serve as a staff liaison to volunteer committees.
- Coordinate projects with external marketing partners and independent contractors as assigned.
- Regular coordination and relationship management with vendors to ensure timely execution and high quality of marketing campaigns
- Assist with marketing events and coordinate day-of deliveries and staffing.
- Attend events for marketing coverage (social content, photos, videography) as assigned.
- Coordinate Marketing Department invoices to ensure timely payments to external business partners.
- Assist in data collection and analysis that will enable the marketing department to understand participation trends and ensure growth. This includes but is not limited to:
- Set up tracking mechanisms for digital marketing activities.
- Use key performance indicators to evaluate the performance of ongoing campaigns and create comprehensive reports. Track and analyze the performance of the various marketing strategies and iterate to optimize results as needed.
- Generate reports and analysis on marketing analytics and report out to to the organization on findings in a clear and efficient way.

Vast knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. AEM and Wordpress website management is a plus.

Position FAQs
- Who does this position work with? The coordinator position will report to Alex Wesley, Director of Marketing and will work closely with James Maimonis, Media and Communications Manager, and Chrissy Lyons, Events and Partnership Manager. The coordinator will also work with staff members from other departments.
- Is your team currently remote? Will this stay remote long-term? We have an office in Westborough, MA. The successful candidate must be able to travel to the office at least once a week. This person may need to attend additional meetings / all staff meetings in the Westborough, MA office.
- How much does this position pay? This position is non-exempt and paid between $21.80 to $24.50 per hour. The position is scheduled to work full-time 35 hours per week. Additional hours may be required based upon events and workload. Compensation is commensurate with experience. The hourly rate offered is determined by several variables, including the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.

- Phone Screens will be scheduled with HR
- First-round Interviews (Virtual) - will be conducted by a multi-person panel, including the Director of Marketing if selected based on your application and phone screen.
- Second-round interviews (In-Person)- will be conducted by the three-person Marketing Department at our office in Westborough, MA. Candidates should be prepared to submit example(s) of work assigned prior to the interview. More information regarding this will be provided to those candidates at this stage of the process.
- Final Interviews may be scheduled with the CEO and others.
