The Opportunity
We value close-knit collaboration and strong relationships and invite applications from individuals interested in making a long term contractor commitment to our mission of at least two years. We are seeking someone to work virtually on a 1099 / part time, project based capacity. In this role, you will work directly with our Leadership team to produce and assemble monthly marketing mailing packages lasting approximately 10 hours per month.
The successful candidate will be innately motivated to produce high quality marketing packages that support our practice’s tactical and strategic goals. A strong interest in crafts and assembly of a high volume of identical mailing packages will be important to meet the needs of our growing practice.
This is a part-time, virtual contractor position working on a project basis. Time commitment will vary depending on the needs of the business and seasonality. Compensation will be determined by an hourly rate commensurate with merit.
Responsibilities
- Produce and assemble monthly marketing mailing packages ranging from one-page mailers to holiday cookie baskets and everything in between.
- Monthly mailings will range from 100 to 1,000 depending on the theme of the month.
- Order mailing package components online to be delivered to your place of work (i.e. home office or other).
- Print collateral materials either at your place of work using your printer or by placing order to a print shop.
- Hand writing notes form time to time and mailing to customers.
- Communicating about project status via frequent updates to the team via Slack.
- Example of detailed responsibilities for a mailing include: Ordering components of mailing such as envelopes, boxes, cookies or promotional product, printing address labels using a shipping label software, affixing address labels to envelopes or boxes, constructing the mailing packages which may vary by package as determined by instructions in a Google Sheet, determining the most cost efficient USPS package, shipping packages.
Requirements
- Home or office setup for to satisfy an efficient fullfillment process
- Strong interest in building and executing with assembly line like efficiencies.
- Ability to dial up and down time as needed based on project requirements. Available for approximately 10 hours per month.
- Ability to meet monthly deadlines and work independently when given clear instructions.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn how to use Google Sheets as a checklist for mailings and Slack to communicate to our team (rather than email).
- Beautiful and neat penmanship
- Strong passion for attention to detail and pride in quality of work output.
