Senior Frontend Engineer

Sincere is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in the evolving frontend technology space and considers themselves an expert in React, Next.js, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.  You believe that user interface details really matter, and you care about creating structured, well-tested, and maintainable code. Not only will you play a role in building the future of our products at Sincere, but you will also decide how the engineering team evolves to meet the needs of our Company as we grow.

You will:

• Develop and implement user-friendly, responsive designs and functionality with React, Next.js, Typescript, Storybook, Tailwind, HTML, and CSS
• Have the opportunity to own projects and influence design, UX, tooling, and architecture
• Create and maintain documentation of frontend code, design guidelines, and best practices
• Work within a nimble team of frontend and backend developers from multiple disciplines
• Experience firsthand how engineering fits together with the other pieces of an organization to create a successful business and products that delight customers

Requirements

You are:

• An experienced developer who considers UI/UX development your craft
• Passionate and opinionated about creating great products for the web
• Experienced in leading and working with large frontend applications
• Familiar with technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Serverless, MySQL, Git, and AWS
• Eager to learn new technologies and techniques, and adaptable to changing development environments and standards

PLEASE NOTE: Our team is primarily based in Greater Boston. We will consider applicants who reside anywhere within a 2 hour drive of the city. While this role is remote, we have occasional in-person meetings at the office (every 4-6 weeks typically).
