Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Responsible for independently designing and implementing software or cloud-based solutions
• Lead in the management of software systems (both on-premises and cloud-based solutions)
• Maintaining (and ensuring the team maintains) clear, detailed records of qualification and validation, and change control activities for future compliance audits
• Ability to mentor and guide lesser experienced team members
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Proven ability to identify areas of business expansion and report to management team for follow-up
• General understanding of system development and release management
• Developing, reviewing, and executing testing of software system implementations
• Making recommendations for design or process modification based on design review as well as test results when executing test scripts

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with Databricks in a "hands on keys" role

• Deep familiarity with Unity Catalog in particular, and Databricks
• Fluency in Python
• Accustomed to working directly and collaboratively with customers in their codebases, including the ability to come up to speed with an existing codebase quickly
• Terraform expertise
• Experience in moving code from legacy Databrick workspace to Unity catalog enabled
• Has worked in agile environments
• Familiar with git and common software development practices around source control
• 4+ years of relevant experience
