Speech Language Pathologist

Boston Speech, a woman and speech therapist-owned company, is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join their team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and make a positive impact on students. This position is school-based and will be 3-4 days a week. The rate for this position is $65-$70 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
• Educate patients and their families on effective communication strategies
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress

Requirements

• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or certification as a speech-language pathologist
• Prior experience in diagnosing and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
• Knowledge of assessment and diagnostic techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Proficiency in utilizing specialized software and technology related to speech-language pathology

Benefits

This position runs until the end of the 2023-2024 school year. Benefits are unfortunately not included with this position.
