Full Job Description
EnCourage Institute for Teaching and Learning, a local educational, developmental and behavioral therapy clinic is looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing autism intervention program. EnCourage Institute’s autism program encompasses both behavioral therapy (ABA) and developmental therapy options. The BCBA will head up the behavioral therapy program. This program provides intensive individualized behavioral interventions related to autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The BCBA will join an experienced and talented team of specialists who have many years of diverse experiences in clinical and educational settings.
We are looking for a BCBA to join our team who is interested in providing behavioral intervention services in a multifaceted clinic setting. Many of our ABA clients are school-aged and receive services within the school setting as well as in the clinic and community settings. A successful candidate will have completed their BCBA certification. Preference will be given to candidates who have background, experience and/or a degree in child development, early childhood education, speech and language, special education or a related field.
The position responsibilities include comprehensive behavioral assessments, developing and overseeing behavior analytic programming for children with ASD, supervision and training of registered behavior technicians, parent training, collaboration with children’s schools and teachers, participation in staffing and other institute activities.
Appointment: This is a part time appointment of 20-30 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full time position. Salary for this position is commensurate with experience and expertise.

Requirements
Qualifications:
· An earned Masters degree in Child Development, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Language Pathology, or Psychology
· A Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential.
· 2+ years working with children with ASD (will consider other teaching or therapy experience) preferred.
· Experience developing, administering and training others to administer behavioral programs for children with ASD
· Preference will be given to candidates who also have training in DIR/Floortime, Hanen, or other developmental therapy interventions
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Commitment to working with cross-disciplinary intervention specialists
· Ability to pass a state and federal background check
