Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Collaborate with the executive team to establish the company’s financial direction, ensuring alignment with both short-term and long-term goals.
- Lead the development and execution of key financial strategies, budgeting, and tax planning to support business growth.
- Establish performance metrics to track progress and drive strategic business initiatives.
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Oversee the company’s financial operations, including accounting, legal, tax, and treasury departments.
- Lead and manage financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and mentor a growing team of finance professionals, offering leadership, guidance, and opportunities for development.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Proactively identify and mitigate financial, operational, and legal risks to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date insurance coverage and oversee all aspects of regulatory compliance, including audits and tax filings.
External Relations & Funding
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and other third-party stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Oversee cash flow, funding strategies, and banking relationships, ensuring financial flexibility and liquidity.

Requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. CPA or MBA preferred but not required.
- Experience: At least 3-7 years of progressively responsible experience in a finance or accounting role with leadership potential. Ideally, candidates will have experience supporting or working alongside an executive team in a growing organization.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of GAAP, financial analysis, and internal controls.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop direct reports.
- Preferred Experience:
- Manufacturing or family business experience.
- Strong background in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- CPA or Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designations are a plus.
