Wayne County is actively seeking an adept AR, Cash, and Lease Accounting SME consultant proficient in Oracle Cloud. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in navigating complex financial landscapes. Responsibilities:

- Lead the enhancement of AR, cash management, and lease accounting processes in accordance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16 standards.

- Provide expert consultation on complex financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline AR procedures, optimize cash flow management strategies, and manage lease agreements effectively.

- Offer insights and recommendations for process improvements, risk mitigation, and financial decision-making.

- Deliver expert knowledge in lease accounting intricacies, including lease classification, valuation, and financial reporting.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (CPA, CFA, etc.) preferred.

- Extensive experience (8+ years) in AR, cash management, and lease accounting, with a proven track record of successfully navigating complex financial scenarios.

- Proficiency in Oracle Cloud, including hands-on experience in leveraging its capabilities for financial management and reporting.

- In-depth knowledge of ASC 842 and IFRS 16 standards, ensuring accurate lease accounting and reporting.

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and apply accounting regulations effectively.
