Requirements

As our Head of Medicare Insurance Agency, you will lead our new Medicare Agency. You will be responsible for building this new business line which will ensure that credit union members have access to the appropriate Medicare policies during their retirement.  We plan to have a nationwide footprint, leveraging the partnerships we have with financial institutions.  We already have a group of credit unions committed to building this agency with us, providing you (and your team of agents) with a unique source of high-quality leads.  

  • As our first agent, you will be a player/ coach.  You will be responsible for individual Medicare outreach and sales as well as building the business.
  • Partner with Senior VP of Product to build our insurance agency, ensuring launch in advance of the 2024 enrollment season.
  • Work with FMO to ensure that the Silvur Medicare Agency business practices comply with CMS rules and regulations.
  • Leverage your experience to build a multi-channel marketing and engagement campaign.  Execution will be managed by our marketing team, but strategy and playbook will be developed by you.
  • Partner with FMO to ensure the appropriate carriers are available and that you and your agents are appointed in a timely manner. 
  • Lead customer facing sales efforts including webinars, in person seminars, and outbound and inbound calls.
  • Partner with credit unions to create an experience that feels like an extension of the credit union experience.  Understand that Medicare is a part of the retirement wallet and that cross-sell opportunities are critical to the partnership being effective.
  • Seize the opportunity.  Recruit and manage a small team of Medicare agents. Efficiently scale this team. 
  • Set annual sales targets and exceed goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medicare agent with 10+ years experience in Medicare sales.  Experience as a field agent is strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding and appreciation of CMS marketing rules and regulations.
  • Prior experience building an insurance agency from the ground up. Equally comfortable building the business and guiding the end consumer on the Medicare enrollment process.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness.
  • History of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets.
  • Possess a combination of analytical and strong communication capabilities: you’re able to dive into sales data to generate insights, develop sales strategies, and adjust plans to ensure that targets are met.
  • Experience hiring and developing best-in-class agents.
  • Love working in small companies where you can see the impact of your work. 
  • Have a bias for action. We’re moving fast!

Benefits

You will be an employee of our holding company Kindur Services. Employees receive a total compensation package including salary, incentive compensation stock options, health benefits and 401k with employer contribution.  You can choose the technology you need to help you excel in your role. This role will require in-person time in Michigan both with customers and the company.

Target compensation of $150,000, salary plus incentive
