We are currently seeking an Over-The-Air (OTA) Validation Engineering within the infotainment group. The main focus will be on evaluating, validating, operating, and managing production vehicle OTA software updates for the North American market. As the OTA Test Engineer, you will be responsible to oversee vehicle software updates.
Core Responsibilities
- Engage in engineering projects spanning various aspects of OTA systems, ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable software updates for North American production vehicles
- Conduct pre-production OTA testing and evaluation, along with post-production update validation, field monitoring, and troubleshooting to uphold quality standards
- Identify root causes of issues, design effective solutions, and collaborate with HQ to implement and deploy them successfully
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or a combination of equivalent education and experience
- Experience in automotive or embedded product development
- Experience in Testing and Software Development for vehicle Electric & Electronic systems, telematics systems, controller units, or related products
- Ability to thrive in an agile work environment with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive Software Requirements Specifications for in-vehicle network management or OTA system software
- Understanding of automotive telematics systems, server architecture, and cloud services
- Experience in automotive telematics data analytics
- Experience in production software lifecycle, including requirements, system design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for vehicle systems
- Familiarity with classic and adaptive AUTOSAR
- Basic knowledge in programming languages such as Python, Java, C, and C++
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps-CI/CD processes and tools
