Currently, seeking a Payroll Clerk to become a part of the HIROTEC AMERICA Team.
This position is responsible for conducting the in-house payroll process by compiling payroll data, reviewing wages computed and correcting errors to ensure accuracy. Assisting in compilation of Payroll, Federal, State, and Benefit tax returns. Assist in preparation of periodic reports of monthly labor, earnings, taxes, and deductions and reconciling payroll on a quarterly basis. Assist in preparation of monthly journal entries for labor costs and payroll costs.
In addition, this position is responsible for assistance with the monthly general ledger closing; process accounts payable invoices, review invoices for accuracy, assist with preparation of checks, and resolve discrepancies. Other special projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree in Accounting/Finance/Human Resources and five plus years of experience processing in-house payroll. Experience with a variety of accounting software packages (i.e. Kronos, Solomon, Crystal Reports, SQL database, etc.). Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong Microsoft Office skills.
