Office/warehouse environment with occasional remote work flexibility. (2 days remote, no remote work in the first 90 days) - Please have this outlined in the Right to Represent
Position Summary:
As a significant member of the DPSCD’s Technology Division, the Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and completion of IT Field Services and Asset Management projects. This role involves coordinating various tasks, managing schedules, and communicating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
• May require occasional travel to other DPSCD locations. No mileage reimbursement. The site the candidate is visiting for the day is where they still stay that day.
Essential Functions:
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and schedules.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Collaborate with team members to allocate tasks and monitor project progress.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
• Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and stored appropriately.
• Assist in audits and compliance activities related to IT asset management.
• Participate in post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and recommend improvements.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in IT or asset management.
• Familiarity with IT asset management principles and best practices.
Skills:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
