Full Job Description
As a Placement Coordinator for our Family Support Services, you will work directly with the Senior Director of Family Support Services to identify and recruit individuals who can deliver personalized, in-home support to those receiving assistance. You will collaborate with the Family Support Services coordinators to connect with families in need with appropriate direct support staff.
NOTE: This is a part time (20-25 hours a week) contract position (estimating 3-6 months.)
Requirements
Duties included but not limited to:
Family Support Program Focus (30%):
- Build long lasting and effective community relationship with families already in the Family Support Services Program
- Educate families on services provided in Service Agreements and the utilization of the funds provided in these agreements to the betterments of the individual supported.
- Meet with families to understand family needs and person supported individual requirements for in-home support service employees.
Recruitment Focus(70%):
- Assist in sourcing and recruitment efforts to help grow the Family Support Services program.
- Recruit direct support staff for individuals and families.
- Post placement opportunities on company and external websites
- Assist in attracting passive candidates through various sources. Assist in the coordination of recruitment events, job fairs, and other activities to attract and development service based pipeline;
- Complete initial review of resumes and applications. Identify potential candidates who align with the family and person supported requirement and Accord’s mission & values;
- Conduct initial phone screens to determine if the candidate meets the needs of the family.
- Arrange meetings between family, person supported and identified candidates.
- Coordinate with candidates and family to ensure a smooth and efficient interview process;
- Work closely with the Human Capital team, family and FSS Coordinators and other stakeholders to understand recruitment needs and priorities;
- Assist with sending offers, the onboarding process, and other tasks as requested;
Education:
High School Diploma and 1-2 years of experience in Recruitment in Human Services or 1-2 years of experience providing services in Human Services
Skills & Experience:
Experience working with families who have a family member with a disability is preferred. A basic understanding of consumer-directed services and supports is preferred. Must have excellent customer services and de-escalation skills.
