We are growing quickly and seeking a sharp, highly skilled, and strategic Finance Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance professional with a proven track record in financial management, accounting, analysis, and budgeting. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the company - leading all financial planning, optimizing financial/accounting processes, managing our contracts and SOW processes effectively, leading the budgeting efforts, and leveraging data to provide valuable insights for informed decision-making. As part of our leadership team, you'll partner and collaborate with the broader team, providing valuable insights that support strategic decision making.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As part of the team, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute financial, and budgeting strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals
- Provide financial and budgeting forecasts and scenario analysis to guide long-term planning
- Lead the accounting and financial reporting for the organization
- Own the annual budget preparation, gross profit analysis and respective quarterly forecasts
- Analyze existing accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and best practices
- Enhance existing monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
- Ensure consistent, accurate financial and operation data is used in all financial systems
- Continuously monitor actual vs. budgeted/forecasted performance, and make recommendations to leadership on methods to improve and sustain profitability
- Provide accurate and timely information to leadership to ensure we achieve our strategic objectives
- Research and stay informed of industry trends to provide recommendations and/or improvements for tools or methodology to improve reporting and analysis
- Oversee a small team, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
- Other duties as assigned – we are a small team and are always ready to get things done for our team and our clients

- You’re a well-rounded finance professional with demonstrated experience in accounting or finance

- You’ve worked in a fast-paced culture before, and thrived

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or finance
- CPA or masters degree in accounting or finance desirable
- 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in small, growing organizations
- You are an Excel wizard, with strong analytical skills
- Experience with Quickbooks
- EOS experience desirable
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. You are a natural collaborator and a true business partner
