Job Overview:
As the Fractional CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial and strategic direction of Safeway Home Health Care, with the ultimate goal of achieving a 10x growth in company revenue over the next five years. This role demands a combination of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, identifying new growth opportunities, and implementing innovative financial strategies to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine financial models and forecasts to support the company’s growth objectives.
- Oversee cash flow management, financial planning, and budgeting processes to ensure financial health and sustainability.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and partnerships that align with the company’s growth strategy.
- Lead the financial negotiations, fundraising efforts, and relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Implement innovative financial management techniques and technologies to improve efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with the CEO and executive team to align financial strategy with overall company goals and objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on financial performance, risks, and opportunities to the CEO and board of directors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of financial governance and ethics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or similar leadership role in a startup or fast-growing company, with a track record of achieving significant growth.
- Strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively in developing financial strategies and solving complex problems.
- Experience in fundraising, financial negotiations, and managing investor relationships.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
