A day in the life:
In this dynamic role, you'll be at the helm of event planning and management to drive awareness and adoption of Barostim therapy. Your tasks will range from organizing impactful national and regional conferences, engaging webinars, and stimulating internal events. You'll be the linchpin in coordinating logistics, fostering strong vendor relationships, and skillfully negotiating contracts to ensure seamless execution within budgetary confines. Effective communication with internal teams and attendees is paramount, as you'll collaborate closely with the marketing department to craft compelling promotional materials. After each event, your keen evaluation and reporting will play a pivotal role in refining future strategies and measuring success. Staying abreast of industry trends will be key, alongside ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines. Additionally, you may support various exciting marketing projects as part of this dynamic role.
Requirements
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
- 10+ years’ experience in in-person event, meeting and/or tradeshow planning.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
- Medical device industry experience.
- Experience with medical device regulatory, legal, quality review process (Sunshine act, AdvaMed Code of Ethics, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once with competing deadlines.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to learn quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player, ready to roll up sleeves and get things done in a fast-paced environment.
What we would like to see:
- Experience in a fast-paced early-stage start-up environment.
- Experience using event and project management tools (i.e., Cvent, Asana).
- Desire to develop expert level understanding of brand guidelines and policies.
