Approximately 10% travel to client sites as needed.

Requirements
MUST HAVES:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Related Field:
- A solid educational foundation in mechanical engineering is essential.
5-10 Years of Hands-On Mechanical Systems Design Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in designing mechanical systems is crucial.
Proficiency in CAD Software (AutoCAD Inventor Preferred, SolidWorks, etc.):
- Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools is necessary.
- Working knowledge of multiple CAD systems is desirable.
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.
Experience with Materials Selection, Stress Analysis, and Manufacturing Processes:
- Knowledge of material properties, stress analysis, and manufacturing techniques.
Excellent Communication and Teamwork Abilities:
- Effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
NICE TO HAVES:
Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Particularly with ANSYS Modeling and Analysis:
- Familiarity with FEA techniques for structural analysis.
Working Knowledge of Multiple CAD Systems:
- Proficiency in various CAD tools is highly desired.
Designing Large, High-Capacity Structures (e.g., Mobile Heavy Equipment):
- Experience with robust designs for heavy machinery.
Practical, Hands-On Manufacturing Experience:
- Insight into manufacturing processes and practical considerations.
Designing Powertrain and Engine Installation Systems:
- Knowledge of powertrain components and engine integration.
Familiarity with Hydraulic or Electrical System Designs:
- Understanding of hydraulic or electrical components in machinery.
Holistic System Design Approach for Heavy Equipment:
- Consideration of overall system functionality and integration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cutting-Edge Mechanical Designs:
- Lead the creation of innovative mechanical designs for machinery and components.
- Start from scratch, conduct thorough prototype tests, and finalize designs before product launch.
System Integration:
- Systematically integrate various components (hydraulics, pneumatics, structures, engine packaging, electrical) to ensure optimal machine functionality.
Component and System Specification:
- Specify and define components and systems for mobile equipment.
- Ranging from simple gears and brackets to complex powertrain assemblies and hydraulic systems.
Client Assistance:
- Provide valuable support to clients in resolving specific concerns.
Mentorship and Guidance:
- Mentor fellow engineers to enhance their project design and development skills.
