Full Job Description
The position of Inspector within our MRP division demands a candidate with the confidence to take control and own the claim assignment process from start to finish. They must have the ability to handle field assignments with accuracy and consistency. We require someone who can take initiative and ensure that we provide the best possible experience. The job demands travel to other markets up to 50% of the time, and we want a candidate who can handle this responsibility assertively. There is a steep learning curve for our industry, however, we have the tools and processes to effectively train and develop the right candidate.
- Actively participate in the sales efforts of assigned claims through the managed repair program.
- Make sure that the company maintains good relationships with program vendors.
- Be a crucial part of the execution of processes related to the department, including the claim flow process.
- Conduct on-site inspections as assigned by the MRP Manager and program, as needed.
- Stay in touch with homeowners throughout the claims process.
- Responsible for obtaining signed contracts.
- Responsible for collecting insurance payments from property owners, including deductible payments.
- Conduct a final inspection of the property to ensure that the job site is clean, all materials have been returned or removed from the property, and all nails/fasteners have been cleared with magnets.
- Obtain signatures on customer satisfaction forms when getting walk-around forms after the job has been completed.
- Use the company's CRM daily to update job files, including uploads of signed contracts and photos.
- Must be able to travel to other markets up to 50% of the time.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Trade school degree in exterior building or construction highly sought after
- Proficient with technologies such as Gmail, Microsoft tools, laptops, tablets, applications, etc
- Minimum 2 years in construction and or related field required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to travel required up to 50% of the time
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Ability to safely climb ladders
- Ability to take precise measurements
- Ability to identify geometric shapes and calculate the total area of the shape
- Comfortable with heights
