Risk Advisory Internship: Summer 2025

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Risk Advisory Department. Our Risk Advisory Team provides solutions to help clients minimize risks related to technology, operations, and regulatory compliance. The team performs SOC 1/SOC 2 examinations, ISO 27001 certifications, and other cybersecurity engagements for clients located around the world.

As an Intern, you will learn how to perform IT audits and identify risks and vulnerabilities related to information security and data privacy. You will be given the support you need to develop a breadth of skills and experiences that will enable you to achieve your goals. Responsibilities

• Assisting the team with IT audits and risk assessments
• Identifying potential vulnerabilities that may exist in the client’s internal control environment
• Offering recommendations for improvement to clients when security concerns are identified
• Completing other duties, tasks, and/or special projects as assigned

• Demonstrating exceptional client service

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity or related field

Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements

Interest in pursuing a career in the area of IT Risk and Cybersecurity

Detail oriented with sound organizational skills

Ability to prioritize and be self-directed

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Exemplary communication (oral and written)

Motivated to creatively serve clients

Desire to be a team player

Internships are paid, full-time experiences which run June – August in our Minneapolis, Minnesota office. We recruit well in advance of this time frame to allow youflexibility and time to make arrangements for housing and required classes.
