This position is responsible for technology solutions, process development, procedural resources, and training specific to Tax, Private Client Services, Estate & Trust, and Retirement Plan Administration. This position will support our Learning & Development department which focuses on the professional growth of our team members and operational effectiveness through practice area technology solutions, process development, procedural resources, customized learning plans, and training offerings.

Responsibilities
- Create, train, and refresh new hire technical training content for onboarding Tax, Private Client Services (PCS), Estate and Trust (E&T), and Retirement Plan Administration (RPA/EB) employees in conjunction with partners in charge (PICs), and designees in a variety of delivery strategies.
- Design, implement and evaluate practice area efficiency initiatives in collaboration with L&D Director, PICs and designees and reevaluate for relevancy on an ongoing basis. Efficiency initiatives may include software evaluation/test piloting, process changes, template revisions, procedural documentation, video resource development, training content development, etc.
- Develop and teach hands-on coursework on select client-serving software products or other requested topics in cooperation with L&D Director, PICs, and designees.
- Communicate course offerings, curriculum content, timing, attendee requirements, required CPE information and any special instruction to the Learning & Development Manager or centralized management.
- Ensure accessibility of training documentation for all team members in accordance with firm knowledge management practices.
- Review training feedback evaluations and modify training programs and resources for continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with PICs and key leaders to identify knowledge gaps and develop a strategy to fill the gaps for Tax, Estate and Trust and Retirement Plan Administration groups through effective learning solutions.
- Address procedural concerns or suggestions raised by departments and initiate solutions in conjunction with L&D Director, PICs, and designees.
- Update firm-customized templates and tax workpapers in collaboration with Tax, Private Client Services (PCS), E&T and RPA/EB PICs and designees.
- Manage Tax, Private Client Services (PCS), E&T, and RPA/EB annual roll forward processes, providing instruction and guidance to the Office Administration team.
- Maintain a proficient level of knowledge pertaining to corporate, partnership and individual taxation, accounting, systems, and software necessary to teach and support our team members.
Requirements
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a mix of related education and experience
4+ years relevant experience in tax or public accounting
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to evaluate, learn and teach others how to use new technology solutions
Strong project management capabilities
