Job Overview
PlanetArt is looking for a Wholesale Sales Manager to support the company’s I See Me! business. The successful candidate will build and maintain an assigned customer base while meeting sales and profit goals. As the Wholesale Sales Manager, you will create an annual sales strategy that will encompass growing the current account base while identifying new growth opportunities in the U.S. and across our growing international business. You will collaborate with various online retail buyers to position and sell new product opportunities and coordinate the end-to-end execution required for I See Me! to receive orders from the wholesale account so products can be efficiently printed and drop shipped on behalf of the retailer. The Wholesale Sales Manager will model professional ethics, consistently deliver stellar sales, and be an outstanding I See Me! brand ambassador. You will be a self-starter with the ability to analyze and report current sales results while identifying opportunities for positioning their sales portfolio for future growth.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates much be local to or willing to relocate to Minneapolis as we operate on a hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 remote).
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Key Account Retention and New Account Acquisition
- Target, establish communication, and onboard new wholesale accounts in the U.S. and international markets
- Establish and manage strong relationships with existing key accounts that generate strong revenue and/or have high potential growth
- Develop creative account-specific sales strategies coupled with customer-specific sales presentations that will lead to successful item and solution sell-in
- Maintain detailed files and communication records for each account
- Problem-solve potential issues that arise in partnership with the retail buying and operations teams
- Stay abreast of the competitive climate and industry trends through periodic key account site reviews to ensure I See Me! is represented with a superior brand presence while managing potential competitive threats
- Ensure ongoing communication about account activity with Wholesale Customer Service, Operations, and R&D
- Coordinate all new item set-up including but not limited to new item form completion, providing product images and descriptions, establishing the personalization requirements for each item, and ensuring that retailers’ websites are collecting the required personalization information from their customers
- Consult prospects on all logistical needs to best support customers and showcase I See Me! products & services
- Respond, qualify, and cultivate inbound leads in a timely manner
- Assist with special projects as directed

What You Should Have
Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements
- BA/BS required
- 2-4 years of sales experience including wholesale and/or brand experience
- Strong understanding of the retail and e-commerce industry
- Dynamic and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Extremely well organized, methodical, and efficient
- Self-motivated and proficient managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills including the ability to stay positive
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, a problem-solver with the ability to take ownership and initiative, work efficiently and strategically while balancing competing priorities
- Superb customer service skills
- Creativity, persuasiveness, and the ability to think on your feet
- Proficient using Microsoft Office; Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical skills to create fact based selling stories
- Ability to travel 10%-20% annually
- This is a hybrid position; employees are expected to be in the office two days per week (Onsite: Monday & Wednesday; Remote: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)

Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000 annual salary.
