Power Generator Technician

1 Resource Group is currently hiring for Power Generator Technician for our client in the machinery industry. This is a direct hire position with great benefits offered.

As a Power Generator Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing power generators. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure that generators are functioning properly and to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair power generators
• Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or necessary maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair technical issues with power generators
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and general cleaning
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance and repair tasks
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in power generator technology
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as a Power Generator Technician
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
