About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in data analytics and Tableau dashboarding to join our team on a contract basis. This role will support a large global manufacturer operating in a highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Tableau dashboards to provide actionable insights and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.

This is a fully remote role, and candidates must be located within the United States. The contract is initially for 6-12 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end process of Tableau dashboard development projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Data Analytics: Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to ensure the accurate collection, processing, and analysis of data to be visualized in Tableau dashboards.
• Dashboard Development: Oversee the design and development of interactive Tableau dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and standards, and that dashboards meet high-quality standards for accuracy and reliability.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to project delivery, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
• Training & Support: Facilitate training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of Tableau dashboards across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in data analytics and dashboarding.
• Proven experience working with Tableau in a professional setting, with a strong portfolio of successfully delivered projects.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g., pharmaceuticals, medical devices, aerospace, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of data analytics, data visualization, and dashboard design principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Tableau and other data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and possibly other BI tools.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science) is preferred.
• PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
