As a Warehouse Receiving Supervisor at Noble, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and accurate reception of goods, materials, and inventory within our warehouse facility. You will lead a team of receiving associates, ensuring the timely processing, inspection, and proper documentation of incoming shipments. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and commitment to maintaining a well-organized and streamlined receiving process will be key to the success of our warehouse operations. This individual is also required to understand all systems that are utilized in the distribution environment, ensure safety and OSHA compliance standards.

- Supervision and Leadership: Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to a team of receiving associates, ensuring their adherence to company policies and safety standards.
- Receiving Operations: Coordinate and oversee the unloading, inspection, and verification of inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory control team to maintain accurate records of received goods, resolve discrepancies, and update inventory systems accordingly.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee that products meet established standards and specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized records of received shipments, including packing slips, bills of lading, and product information.
- Efficiency and Productivity: Continuously optimize receiving processes to enhance productivity, reduce processing times, and minimize errors. Monitor and update production records, progress, and goals
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, fostering a culture of safety awareness among receiving personnel.
- Communication: Liaise with other departments, including shipping, inventory, and procurement, to resolve issues and streamline the supply chain process.
- Training and Development: Train new hires, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance evaluations for receiving associates.
- Reports and Analysis: Generate and analyze receiving reports, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to management.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of materials, distribution processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods
- Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and individuals to identify, communicate, and provide process improvement solutions for the organization.
- Previous experience working in an automated facility, conveyance, ASRS is a plus
- Previous experience with ISO 9001 standards and requirements
- Previous experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience managing people and teams in a distribution and/or production setting
- Experience quality controlling mass projects with multiple variables, shifting priorities, and deadlines
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets with high attention to detail
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Knowledge of ERP systems, RF Smart WMS, UPS WorldShip, Fed Ex Ship Manager and Endicia Dazzle.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Flexibility with hours - ability to work varied hours, days, night, and weekends as business dictates]
