Ace Handyman Services is hiring for a General Manager to Lead our Team!

We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of Ace Handyman Services of West St Louis County. If you have previous experience running remodeling crews, managing a home services business, or even running your own business and are looking for a change of scenery - this is perfect for you.

We're offering a Salary of $55,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on experience. This will also include a company vehicle, benefits, and room to grow from there!

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Set policies and processes
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
  • Direct the employee assessment process
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

Requirements

General Manager responsibilities include, managing the office team and craftsman as well as establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Must have at least 10 years of Experience working a home services or remodeling environment
    • Including 3+ years of Experience Managing a Craftsman Team and Managing Schedules
  • Must Job Estimation Skills for various residential improvement projects
    • You must be able to quickly estimate jobs for customers over the phone - we'll train you on best practices for our business
  • Must be comfortable with pre-employment background check
  • Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record
