Responsibilities
- Perform complex interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of physicians
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment to produce high-quality images
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in medical records
- Follow all radiation safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Stay current with the latest advancements and techniques in interventional radiology
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Associate degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology
- Familiarity with interventional radiology procedures and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Commitment to patient safety and delivering exceptional care
Benefits
Assignment Location: Kansas City MO
Class/Area: IR/RAD
Pay Rate: $2600-$2800 @40hrs weekly
Desired Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 40
Hours Shift and Time: 8 hour Days, M-F, 0900-1730
Weekend Rotation: Rotated with 2 additional Techs on staff
On-call Requirements: Call required
Holidays Requirements: as needed per staffing needs
Floating Requirements: None
Experience Required: 1 year
Experience Preferred: 2 years preferred
License Required: ARRT or ARRT CV
Certificates Required: BLS - must have upon submission
Housing Assistant: Provided
