About the Job:
We are hiring Property Maintenance Technicians. We own and operate a portfolio of multifamily housing units in Kansas City Kansas/Missouri and are growing aggressively in the area. You will be fixing work orders, doing construction and make-ready's on newly available units, and doing general maintenance as needed as coordinated with your supervisor across our multiple properties in the area.
This is a full time job! You are expected to be onsite, on-time, Monday through Friday from 9am - 5pm with a paid 30 minute lunch. No exceptions to this time commitment.

Requirements
Skills required to work here:
- HVAC Certified, and comfortable diagnosing and fixing any HVAC-related issues.
- Floor installation - you should be able to install the most common types of flooring efficiently and professionally.
- Basic Rehab - you should have experience walking into an absolute mess when bad tenants leave, and you should be able to take that mess and turn it into a fresh, new, and high-value rehab job. This should be done without breaking the bank but still with high quality work.
- Plumbing - you should be very comfortable with the most common and advanced plumbing issues that will arise.
- Electrical - you should have basic experience and be able to diagnose and fix minor electrical issues around lights, outlets, and other general electrical needs.
- Drywall - you should be very comfortable with drywall repairs
- Cabinet and kitchen installation - you should be able to do high-quality work in this area and have a lot of experience doing this in the past.
- Minor Appliance Repair - you should be able to diagnose and troubleshoot basic issues with most appliances you can find in an apartment.
- Assist the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in scheduling and performing apartment and safety inspections.
- Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, apartment refurbishing, roof leaks, refrigerant logs, snow logs, MSDS sheets, and equipment.
- Timeliness and organization - we operate off of trust and commitment to doing what you say you are going to do. You must demonstrate that you have what it takes to respond to a fast-paced work environment and remain organized. Additionally, we must be able to rely on you to be consistent with tracking and logging what you do, as you will sometimes be working alone when not with a teammember.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Current driver's license is required
- 3-5 years of facility or property maintenance experience, is required;
- HVAC and CPO certification is required;
- Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site is required
