Operations Director - Projects

BizzyCar is looking for an Operations Director to build, lead and manage a team focused on executing high-priority, cross-functional projects. In this extremely fast-paced role, you will own the execution and coordination of strategic operations projects to unlock and maximize business opportunities including new partnerships, new markets, and new GTM motions. You will work directly with and support BizzyCar's leadership team including its CEO. You will interface and manage operational relationships at global car manufacturers, large franchised dealer groups, and other partners in the automotive industry. Your role will require rolling up your sleeves to get things done and ensure high velocity execution and problem solving. As Director, you will have the opportunity to hire and stand up your own team.

This position offers a high level of exposure to leaders and important players in the industry. You will be critical to the success of our OEM partners, our dealership partners, and our company. You will help our industry put safer cars on the road, create revenue growth for our customers, and solve challenging problems through technology and innovation.

Requirements

• Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered with excellence and maximized impact. Utilize project management tools like Asana to track progress, assign tasks, and report on project milestones.
• Team Leadership: Build and manage a new team of 2-3 individuals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and support team members in their professional development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including product, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
• Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact during projects for large customers, managing client and partner relationships and ensuring their operational needs are met. Facilitate clear and effective communication between BizzyCar and its clients.
• Onboarding: Oversee the kickoff and onboarding process of new projects, ensuring initiatives and related customers are set up for success with our platform and solutions. Work with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition and integration for new clients.
• Operational Excellence: Continuously assess and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and identify opportunities for optimization across the organization.
• Travel: Some travel will be required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with remote teams.

Qualifications:

• Ability to execute at extremely fast pace across a variety of responsibilities
• Proven experience in a senior operational role, ideally within the automotive technology space.
• Strong project management skills with experience using tools like Asana.
• High level of proficiency with cloud-based applications and enterprise tools
• Expertise with SaaS platforms and technology-driven solutions
• Experience managing a small team, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with large customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a high level of initiative.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
