Full Job Description
The overall responsibility of the Account Manager is to maintain current account relationships and activity and drive sales through existing accounts and by seeking new business through both current accounts and new accounts.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attending trade shows nationwide to meet with key players in the industry
- Managing existing book of business, servicing and growing current clients, primarily in Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and others in the region
- Working both SQL and MQL through pipeline to closed sales
- Understanding Client contacts and decision-making key stakeholders at each assigned account
- Developing communications around replenishment order probability with clients and documenting future forecasts
- Being a vape expert for my clients and staying knowledgeable on vape
trends worldwide
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer
- relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, meetings with cannabis
manufacturers
- Adhering to the Blinc CRM standard operating procedures (SOPs) as it pertains to the sales role
- Keeping client records up to date daily for purpose of accurate CRM reporting
Requirements
- 50% Business Travel, including possible International Travel
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport
- Reliable method of transportation for the purpose of facilitating client engagements
- Flexibility to support clients outside of standard business hours
- Ability to stand for 8 hours or more while attending tradeshows and events
- Identify how to unearth new deals through initiating conversation and driving the direction of client conversations
- Develop long standing relationships throughout the client organization
- Display analytical approaches to clients through data historical reviews, attending client QBRs, and providing data reviews on the market and industry
- Perform sales presentations using exemplary white glove approaches with sales materials and client meeting comforts (ie: convenient times/locations for clients to attend)
- Ability to strategically outline sales pipeline and forecast future expected volumes in both dollars and units
- Effective objective selling approaches to close deals
- Keep ahead of the curve by staying in touch with current market and industry events, knowledge, regulations, and changes
- Maintain integral accountability
- Must be authorized to work in the US and located within the specified sales territory.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years working in a sales capacity role preferably in B2B
- Proven prior profitable success in a sales role or a role that closely works with sales
- Degree in Business, Marketing or similar or equivalent experience
- Strong skills using Google Suite, Gmail, Calendar, and Sheets
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Prior experience with client performance metrics
- Proactive problem-solving skills
