We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing Gaming engineering team at Euronet Worldwide in Las Vegas, NV. Our Business Analysts work with our product stakeholders on business requirements, user stories, and documentation within our engineering organization. This role is an integral part of our software delivery process and works side by side with the Project Manager and Developers.
The ideal candidate will showcase experience in bridging the gap between business leaders and technical team members by knowing how to document, diagram, and summarize requirements. This candidate will also have experience managing the execution of the requirements through the software development life cycle.
Definition and Ownership (80%):
- Work with product stakeholders to create detailed requirements and user stories for software development projects.
- Serve as a requirements subject matter expert for the team.
- Collaborate with developers and quality assurance, ensuring the solution being developed aligns with current or future system capabilities, as well as the business needs.
- Liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to communicate design challenges and risks.
- Proactively document and communicate any changes to the business requirements and/or limitations that may affect the end deliverable
Delivery and Execution (20%):
- Facilitate and drive planning for projects, from LOE estimates through the QA completion and deployment.
- Collaborate with Project Manager on creating realistic resourcing plans and schedules to deliver requirements.
- Partner with product stakeholders and Project Manager on setting priorities based on business needs and constraints.
- Lead discussions for work assignments and deliverables; manage day to day communication.
- Manage risks throughout the SDLC.
Key Deliverables:
- Requirement documentation inside and outside our work management tool
- Roadmap of requirements state with associated estimates/schedule
- Status of work delivery through the development lifecycle
- Work management tool organization, including team inputs
- Continuous process improvement-recommendations and execution
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Business or related degree
- 5-7 years experience with documenting requirements and creating functional designs by working with business users and internal team
- 4-6 years of team experience in software development methodologies
- Experience representing the functional needs of a development request back to the technical team to facilitate the development process
- Ability to be adaptable and strong in problem solving
- Demonstrated communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels within the organization
- Demonstrated organizational and teamwork skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
- Preferred - Gaming and/or Startup experience
