Unimacts is looking for a dynamic Onsite Translator on a Contract basis to join our cutting-edge Las Vegas, NV operations. We estimate the contract to last at least 2 months. The Sloan plant is a vibrant start-up where innovation meets energy, and we need team players who thrive in fast-paced environments. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpreting conversations and instructions or individuals and groups with limited English.
• Follow up with translation to meet individual’s normal and reasonable business needs.
• Follow ethical codes that protect confidentiality of information.
• Familiar with industry specific terminology or ability to learn manufacturing processes quickly.
• Ability to explain and interpret idiomatic expressions and culture nuances.
• Translate documents or instructions required for any equipment.
• Identity and help resolve conflicts related to the meaning of words, concepts, behaviors and practices

Requirements

• Must have graduate qualifications in translation from an institution of higher education
• Must be fluent in Mandarin with proficient knowledge of English, including reading, writing and grammar.
• At least 2 years of full-time translation and professional interpreting
• Proficient in industrial or manufacturing technologies
• Must have flexible schedule during the week
• Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in U.S
