LV Petroleum is seeking a Help Desk Administrator to provide technical support to our team, ensuring the efficient functioning of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing support tickets, and maintaining user systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely technical support to staff via phone, email, and in-person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues for employees
- Manage, prioritize, and resolve support tickets in a professional manner
- Set up and maintain workstations, including installation and configuration of software
- Assist with system upgrades and patches
- Document common issues and solutions to improve internal support knowledge base
- Ensure proper security measures for IT systems
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role
Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems
Basic knowledge of networking, hardware, and troubleshooting techniques
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
