We are excited to open a new opportunity for Inventory Controls Manager position experienced in inventory management. The Inventory Controls Manager is responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials and components required for the electro-mechanical manufacturing process. This role involves managing inventory levels, ensuring timely materials delivery to support efficient production operations. The Inventory Controls Manager will work closely with Purchasing, Stockroom, Production teams, and other departments to ensure materials are available to meet production requirements.

Essential Functions

Materials Management (Primary):

  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and processes.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of materials to the production floor.
  • Control and manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing materials between facilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate transactions of materials into the ERP system.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient stock and storage of materials.

 

Production Support:

  • Collaborate with production and planning teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability.
  • Address material shortages or issues that may impact production schedules and communicate with Purchasing.
  • Lean initiatives to improve material management, Kitting processes and systems (KPIs and Scheduling).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent        
  • Proven 5+ years’ experience as a inventory manager or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Environment

  • Full-time position with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Office and warehouse/manufacturing floor environments.
