Do you have a passion for documentation? Love the hustle and bustle of a busy clinic? Love problem solving and data? Join ROC as a Medical Scribe! We'd love to show you what it's like to work here. This position will remain posted until filled.
You would be responsible for documenting patient visits and relevant information in patient's electronic medical records. You would play a role in improving our patient's lives each day. Develop strong relationships with patients, physicians, and staff members and find your people here at ROC.
ROC is expanding with two more operating suites opening the beginning of 2025 as we welcome seven new surgeons to our team. Join our team to be part of the growth and excitement!
What would you do as a Medical Scribe?
You can expect to regularly:
- Transcribe the patient’s history, physical exam findings, consultations, labs, X-rays, and other evaluations into the electronic medical record with accuracy and efficiency during patient visit;
- Rectify mistakes or inconsistencies in patient’s electronic medical record;
- Input accurate charges into patient’s electronic medical record;
- Ensure the presence of medical scribe in patient exam room does not detract from provider’s treatment of patient.
Requirements
Certifications/Education
- High School Diploma/GED;
Knowledge of:
- Human anatomy and terminology;
- HIPAA regulations and procedures;
Experience:
- Communicating effectively in a professional setting.
Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants? (if app.)
- Experience using electronic medical records systems such as Epic
Schedule: May be required to work weekend days (Saturday). Schedule up to manager discretion.
Travel: May require travel to other clinic locations based on manager discretion.
