VadaTech Inc., is a world leader in the design and manufacture of embedded computing solutions and due to growth we are seeking a Shipping Receiving Coordinator on its manufacturing assembly team at our manufacturing facility in Henderson, Nevada.
The role verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to ensure established deadlines are met
- Responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely.
- Coordinates with carriers to ensure on-time delivery by tracking trucks for pick-up, estimating times of arrivals and delivery, and recovering loads when necessary.
- Committed to customer satisfaction and willing to periodically drop of packages at FedEx, UPS drop-off locations
- Provide classification according to HTSUSA. Requires the ability to interpret US Harmonize Tariff Schedule.
- Monitor shipments and Customs clearance. Communicate status, delays to appropriate parties. Resolves shipment issues, and possess the ability to determine when to elevate to management for resolution.
- Meet internal customer’s deadlines by ensuring timely processing and delivery of international shipments
- Assist overseas offices as necessary to release Customs holds and provides necessary documentation for release.
- Ensures accurate product values and country of origin are provided in international transactions.
- Support and maintain ongoing documentation of logistics procedures related to daily functions.
- Coordinate with Sales team, Production Manager/Supervisor and Production Coordinators to create and execute daily schedules to ensure timely receipt and shipping of all orders.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in related field or equivalent of relevant work experience in International Supply Chain and US Customs Import Regulation.
- Knowledge and understanding of Incoterms rules.
- 2 years of demonstrated leadership experience in Shipping and Receiving environment.
- Experience in the lean manufacturing methodologies
- Organized, driven and customer focused
- General computer skills.
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
- Fluent domain of the English language: ability to read, write and speak English well.
- Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
Physical Demands:

- Manual dexterity in order to use shipping equipment and related tools.
- Sitting and standing for long hours in an indoor work environment.
- Ability to move around the facility, climbing stairs as necessary, bend down and reach up.
- Frequently communicate with others; must be able to exchange accurate information verbally and in writing.
- Constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment such as phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (one-person lift) additional weight lifted should be a two-person lift.
