About the Organization
Community Volunteer Transportation company (CTVC) was incorporated as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization in 2008. CVTC was born out of a grassroots effort to address the growing unmet transportation needs of the region. Transportation options for everyone is the vision of the organization. Our mission is to optimize health, well-being, and independence by coordinating transportation options for people throughout the Monadnock Region, located in the southwest corner of New Hampshire.
For many of our neighbors who don’t have access to a vehicle due to age, ability, economics, or other circumstances, there can be very few available transportation options. By offering “no-fee” transportation for those without access, CVTC’s team of staff and volunteers positively impact our communities in three primary ways.
· Serving the public health needs of the region by partnering with local hospitals, human services agencies, and municipalities to support the health, safety, and well-being of our communities.
· Serving our neighbors in need of transportation by providing rides to non-emergency medical or social service appointments and to the grocery store, bank, post office, or pharmacy.
· Serving our neighbors looking for meaningful ways to make a difference by providing volunteer opportunities and supporting our volunteer drivers with training and orientation, an easy-to-use ride coordination system, and mileage reimbursement.
CVTC Employee Experience:
CVTC provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, or genetics.
Perks of working at CVTC include:
· Mission-driven environment, prioritizing excellence in service to our community.
· Generous paid time off policy.
· Fun, supportive, and creative work environment that prioritizes work/life balance.
