YOUR OBJECTIVE
You support existing SAP programs and functionality. You develop custom programs to improve the SAP efficiency in day-to-day activities for all SAP users. You support new SAP-related implementations, tools, and applications.
YOUR JOB
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- You code low-to-medium complexity software objects and maintain applications to keep them performing in accordance with technical and functional specifications
- You create specialized reports for SAP modules using Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) programming languages
- You debug and break-fix SAP module production issues (SD, MM, MW, AFS) by using ABAP programming language and creating technical documentation
- You assist in defining technical requirements for ongoing systems maintenance and future functionality to meet requirements and improve system efficiency
- You provide technical support and documentation to users on matters related to the programming of SAP modules (SD, MM, MW, AFS)
- You prepare comprehensive thorough technical program documentation including specifications, test conditions, test plans, and test data
- You maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, technical and business team members, and users
Requirements
Your Experience and Qualifications
- You have successfully participated in production support or managed at least 1 full lifecycle SAP implementations
- You have SAP core experience in following modules: Sales & Distribution (SD), Material Manager (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Apparel & Footwear Solutions (AFS)
- You have in-depth knowledge and extensive experience of ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, Business Applications Programming Interface (BAPI), Business Add In (BADI), Remote Function Call (RFC), Intermediate Document (IDOC) configuration and programming Batch Data Communication (BDC)
- You have experience and in depth understanding of SAP AFS (Appeal and Footwear service) module functionality along with Standard SAP tables, Transaction codes, configuration and also enhancements
- You effectively analyze complex existing code and make modifications as needed
- You can successfully troubleshoot and research problems independently
- You have extensive experience developing/enhancing SAP enhancement framework like User exit, enhancement spots and Business Add-Ins (BAdIs)
- You have in depth knowledge of SD, MM, WM. AFS basic configuration
- You have in depth knowledge and experience in OTC (Order to Cash) including Make-to-Order and also PTP (Procure to Pay) process life cycles
- You can create data for unit testing and other testing and perform necessary testing as needed
- You can communicate technical information both in person and in writing
