The Team

The Role
As a Platform/DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions within the Documents & Biometrics product portfolio. We utilize Amazon Web Services as a cloud platform of choice.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team to gather and understand application requirements and provide cloud solutions accordingly.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, EKS, and other services.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, conduct regular security assessments, and address vulnerabilities promptly.
- Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance and cost efficiency.
- Participate in an On-call rotation.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Proven Experience: Prior designation working in a DevOps/Platform/Cloud Engineer role
- AWS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, EKS, Elasticache etc.
- Automation Skills: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably AWS CloudFormation, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Security Focus: Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively while working remotely.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is a plus.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest cloud technologies
