Full Job Description
Our Recruiter plays a key role in driving the future growth of Concord Group Insurance. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Lead, this position goes beyond traditional recruiting—acting as a talent magnet, sourcing expert, and vital business partner to the HR department and company leaders. This role will manage full-cycle recruiting in a competitive multi-state region, crafting and implementing sourcing strategies to attract top talent for various roles within the company. Additionally, this role will be deeply involved in executing college campus recruiting strategies and managing partnerships with universities.
Responsibilities
- Source, engage, and evaluate candidates to build talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct dialing to target prospects, and leveraging industry connections.
- Schedule qualified candidates for interviews for various positions across all departments and levels within the company, including college interns, new associates to the industry, and experienced professionals.
- Create and extend offers, manage negotiations, and develop offer letters.
- Effectively communicate our value proposition and position details, including employment eligibility requirements, duties, responsibilities, schedule, benefits, and compensation to candidates.
- Implement campus recruiting strategies to attract top talent from colleges and universities.
- Build and maintain relationships with career services, faculty, and student organizations at target schools.
- Develop and deliver presentations and workshops to educate students about career opportunities and the company’s culture and values.
- Plan and attend campus events such as career fairs, information sessions, and other campus related activities.
- Manage the recruitment process for all prospective interns.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including candidate disposition in the Talent Acquisition System, interview and reference checking notes, hiring decisions, and monthly metric reporting in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience through prompt and professional communication throughout the recruitment process, while actively representing the company at networking events, conferences, and industry functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; 2 to 5 years of direct full-cycle recruiting experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in campus recruiting is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, whether in person, on the phone, or electronically.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to problem solve effectively and develop thoughtful and appropriate responses.
- Keen attention to detail for accurate data collection and metrics.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and operate with discretion and integrity.
- Proven experience designing and executing multiple sourcing strategies, including direct targeting, for a variety of positions and levels within a company.
- Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to navigate web-based programs such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Workable, and other sourcing platforms.
