We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher to join our team. As a Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Spanish language and culture to students of varying skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in linguistics and a proven track record in classroom management and behavior management.
Compensation: PAID WEEKLY
- - Teach Spanish language and culture to students of varying skill levels.
- - Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students and align with curriculum requirements.
- - Use various learning technologies to enhance the learning experience and engage students.
- - Utilize library services to supplement teaching materials and enhance the learning environment.
- - Administer standardized tests to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- - Provide individualized support to students who may require extra attention, such as proofreading and providing feedback.
- - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes literacy education.
- - Utilize the Chicago Manual Style to ensure consistent and professional presentation of materials.
- - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- - Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular classroom teacher.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners and accommodate individual learning styles.
- Collaborate with school staff and administration to support student learning and address any challenges.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- - Strong background in linguistics and Spanish language and culture.
